We would like to cordially invite you to save the dates of April 28th and 29th, 2026, for the 2nd Saarland Hydrogen Congress in the ballroom of the VHS Saarbrücken. The event is being organized by the Saarländische Wasserstoffagentur GmbH (H2Saar) in cooperation with the Institute for Future Energy and Material Flow Systems (IZES gGmbH) and Hydrogen Europe.

The congress brings together representatives from industry, politics, and society to discuss the establishment of sustainable hydrogen utilization in the transformation of industry and our energy system. We offer high-level presentations and discussion formats—ranging from European energy policy, regulatory issues, and global hydrogen supply chains to large-scale industrial projects such as Power4Steel, mosaHYc, and the development of the German hydrogen core network.

How can hydrogen contribute to energy security? How can the establishment of a hydrogen economy succeed? How can we utilize it sustainably? – These are just three of the questions we will be addressing.
