The Hydrogen Congress, organized by Saarländische Wasserstoffagentur GmbH and IZES gGmbH, brings together experts from Saarland, Germany and the world to discuss innovations in technology, politics and regulation for a sustainable hydrogen future.
This year, we are suspending the Saarland Hydrogen Congress, but are all the more pleased to welcome the hydrogen world to Saarland together with SHS – Stahl-Holding-Saar, Stahlverband Saar and Grande Region Hydrogen as hosts of the Handelsblatt Hydrogen Summit.

Hydrogen Week
Hydrogen Week (#WdW) is a national campaign that offers free insights into the market ramp-up of hydrogen and hydrogen technologies. The events are primarily aimed at people who are interested in the topic of hydrogen as well as anyone who has concerns, questions and would like to learn more.

School competitions about hydrogen – take part and win!
The Saarland Hydrogen Agency invites all schoolchildren in Saarland to take part in our exciting competitions on the subject of hydrogen! We are offering two age groups the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity and knowledge of this pioneering energy source. With a great sense of commitment and imagination, great prizes can be won!
For elementary school

Are you ready for an exciting adventure?
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of hydrogen and invent an adventurous story about the little molecule Wassel-Quassel! Whether as a text, comic or short movie – all your ideas are welcome.
What is important: At the end you should submit a 90-second video in which you present your idea.
There are exciting prizes to be won:
1st place: €500
2nd place: 300 €
3rd place: 200 €
Closing date for entries: May 15, 2025
Award presentation: June 28, 2025 at the MINT Campus St. Ingbert
