Hydrogen Week 2025 – Your Future with H₂! Hydrogen Week 2025 – Your Future with H₂!
On June 25, 2025, a special event will take place at the Völklingen/Fenne power plant as part of Hydrogen Week. Students and other interested individuals will have the opportunity to learn about hydrogen as a future technology and make valuable connections for their careers.
What to expect?
- Exhibition of leading hydrogen companies from Saarland
- Expert talks on hydrogen activities in Saarland, research projects, and university programs (in German & English)
- Exclusive power plant tour (limited spots available)
The Völklingen/Fenne power plant is a unique location for hydrogen enthusiasts: One of the largest electrolyzers in Saarland will be built on-site, marking a major step for the region’s hydrogen economy.
Food and drinks will be provided. The program is continuously being updated.
A shuttle bus will run between Völklingen train station and the Fenne power plant. The departure times will be announced here in the coming week.
